Training
The Spatial Initiative, in conjunction with ITS and the Library, offers courses in GIS and GIS related subjects. These courses are free of charge to faculty, staff, and students on campus. External organizations and research groups who are interested in GIS training are able to attend the courses for a small fee. Example courses include:

- Advanced ArcGIS I – Introduction to Geo-processing
- Advanced ArcGIS II - Introduction to Geostatistical Analyst
- Advanced ArcGIS III – Introduction to Spatial Analyst and 3D Analyst

The Spatial Initiative staff are also experienced in creating customized, discipline or need specific training. Industries include Health and Epidemiology, Agriculture, Hydrology, Commerce, Archaeology and Engineering. For more information, contact us.
ESRI’s Virtual Campus
The University of Saskatchewan community has free access to the online courses on ESRI’s Virtual Campus. If you are interested in one of these courses, you may request the access code from us via email. Note: Each course has a separate code. Use the list of courses in a Premium license to get the most up-to-date online courses.
